Netherlands - Vlissingen, first saterday
yearly in June
Why not join in?
Since the NJF Foundation in
the early 1990s started organising the National Youth
Festival, they have definitely put the city of Vlissingen in
the Netherlands on the map! This festival is an absolutely
magnificient event, full of great music and spectacular shows
performed by a large number of the best youth marching bands
all over Europe.
The Festival are known as the Number 1
festival for youth marching bands. During a weekend full of
fun and entertainment, musicians, conductors, instrument
dealers, music publishers and -last but not least- thousands
of marching band fans share their passion for marching band
shows, their latest experiences and their expertise.
There is music and magic in
the air! Why not join us and be a part of the National Youth
Festival for Show & Marchingbands.
Let your corps
concentrate on their performance and the NJF Foundation will help to make all the arrangements for you. This includes
information of the competition, required applications and travel
planning during this exciting time.

The Efteling
Showparade
The Efteling Showparade programme enables all kinds of
amateur performing groups from every corner of the world (Show-
and Marching Bands, Choirs, Orchestra's, Dancecompagnies &
others) to enjoy a marvelous day at The Efteling Park in
Kaatsheuvel - Holland.
Performances will take place between April and October each
year.

International Tournament of Marching Bands
and Majorettes
The International
Tournament of Marching Bands and Majorettes at Malgrat de Mar,
Spain, starts in October and
enables amateur performing groups from
every corner of the world (Marching Bands, Dance troupes.
Orchestra's, choirs & others) to be
a part of this great event.
An very attractive programme included musical performances and
sightseeing at the Costa Brava and the wonderfull town of
Barcelona.
Conditions
to participate: Accommodation
in hotels at Malgrat de Mar and be an member of a National
Musical Organisation.

THE ROSE BOWL
PARADE
Pasadena -
January 1, 2007
This is the premiere parade in the
world! Held every year on New Year's Day, this nationally
televised parade will literally make your band a star across
the country. Held in Pasadena, California, the Rose Bowl
Parade is seen around the world. Let American Tours &

MACY'S
THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
New York -
November , 2006
Held every Thanksgiving in
New York City, this parade includes the famous Macy inflated
floats and the best marching bands and performers from
across the country. If chosen to participate, your band will
have memories that will last a lifetime.

Netherlands Circuit or the Winter Guard
International European Regional, send an

European Regional.
Established
in 1999, the Regional has attracted
thousands of competitors world wide to
this once a year Color Guard event.
Every other year the organization is in
the hands of Color Guard Netherlands or
Winter Guard United Kingdom.

Calgary Exhibition and
Stampede 2007
The Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, "The Greatest Outdoor Show
on Earth," held each July attracts bands of outstanding calibre to participate
in parades, competitions and performances for ten days of fun.
Marching bands are an integral feature of the Calgary
Stampede,
which makes the hours of practice, drill and rehearsal worthwhile. Your
participation says "we're the best and we're showing it because we're a part of
the Calgary Stampede." Bands participating will have the opportunity to compete for
$30,000 CDN prize money as well as trophies and other awards
Each year,
the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede extends a warm Western
welcome to marching bands, show bands and military bands from
local communities and international points to participate in
the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth", the Calgary
Stampede.
The Calgary
Stampede is now accepting applications for bands who are
interested in joining us for Stampede 2007 Applications will be accepted up to, and including, March
1st.
Upon
acceptance of your application, your band will be assigned an
escort / contact person who will guide you through the process
of preparing for the Stampede, and will assist you during your
stay in Calgary.
